Staff Members Bios

Paula has just celebrated 20 years of owning A Cut Above Hair Design. Prior to owning the salon, she managed it for Kim for 5 years. Paula is always looking for new and improved ways to educate her clients and staff by bringing Redken professionals into the salon. Her education in Redken dimensional color and foil placement is the key to a great new look for her clients. Paula’s love of hair and dressing it has never diminished. She enjoys creating new upstyles for The Bridal Runway Show and for brides who seek out the best in upstyles. She has gone to numerous classes by Aquage, a company known for their formal hairstyling products and techniques. Paula has also continued her education with Yves Durif of New York, Jingles, Paul Mitchell, and Nexxus.

Kim has been with
A Cut Above Hair Design for over 29 years. She previously owned the salon for 5 years before Paula became the owner. Kim brings remarkable talent and devotion to her craft. She has attended The Martin Parsons School of Cutting in Canada and also has extensive training in Redken Color. Kim is certified and is very experienced in La Braziliana and Thermal Straightening Systems. Her passion for color and cutting show in her remarkable color correction transformations.

Noreen has 16 years of experience with
A Cut Above Hair Design. Noreen’s personality reflects in the hairstyles and colors of her clients. She is always looking to update and educate her clients in the newest and most flattering looks and products available. Noreen has attended many Redken Color, Cutting, and Dimensional Designing classes over the years.

Stephanie has been with A Cut Above Hair Design for 10 years. She is very talented with cutting and styling long hair. Stephanie specializes in men’s color and clipper cutting. She has attended numerous Redken, Aquage, and Paul Mitchell classes in cutting, foiling, and coloring, giving her an added layer of knowledge for her clients.

Janice has been a stylist for over 30 years. She is a former owner of a salon and has been with A Cut Above Hair Design for over 6 years. Janice has trained in Redken, Goldwell, and Matrix products. She has an eye for dimensional color and foiling, and enjoys doing upstyles for weddings and special occasions, including working on our Bridal Runway Show.

Pat has been with
A Cut Above Hair Design as our front of salon coordinator for 5 years. She is the first to greet our clients, always with a smile. Pat keeps all appointments and scheduling up to date and running smoothly. She has a keen sense of style and is knowledgeable in all our product lines.

Demi joined the
A Cut Above Hair Design team 5 years ago, bringing a total of 10 years of experience with her. Demi has taken multiple educational classes in Redken and Paul Mitchell. She specializes in razor and carving comb cuts. Her knowledge of color and foil placement is superb.

Kris has been a stylist for 4 years, our newest member of the A Cut Above Hair Design team. Kris brings new and exciting looks to all of her clients. She is certified in the Keratin Complex Therapy Straightening Systems. Kris has taken extensive classes in Redken color correction and dimensional foiling techniques. Kris has recently worked on our Bridal Runway Show, doing upstyles and formals for brides.

Kerrie has been with A Cut Above Hair Design for 29 years. Her career as a stylist is full of knowledge in styling and cutting. She enjoys men’s cutting as well as design and texturzing. She has completed many classes in the Redken, Paul Mitchell, Matrix, and Aquage product lines. Kerrie continues to take in salon classes to keep current with the latest looks in fashion.
